FRIDAY 12/17 Canceled (updated 12/18/21)

It is with regret that we must announce the cancellation of Friday night’s (12/17) Christmas Celtic Sojourn show.  This is due to rigid protocol testing and the expectation of data that cannot be ascertained until tomorrow morning. Because of our commitment to safety and very stringent protocols, we are confident this action is being taken out of an abundance of caution. Once our data is returned in the morning, we hope to resume our performances which are tomorrow Saturday at 3PM and 8PM, and on Sunday at 1PM and 5PM.

We are deeply saddened that we are not able to celebrate tonight’s performance with you in-person; however our Virtual Christmas Celtic Sojourn will still be recorded in the theatre as planned,  so we hope that you will join us online from the comfort of your home anytime from tomorrow on, as we will sing together our familiar songs, and as always, introduce new traditional material.

This is a challenging time for all of us. For the performing arts – for artists and staff alike – it’s particularly difficult financially. We hope you might consider your support in deciding one of the options below. If you transfer your tickets to another night or convert them to virtual, then your contribution will ensure the artists and staff get paid for their work, and the production remains strong. So thanks in advance for the consideration.

As a ticket buyer for Friday night’s (12/17) performance you have several options:

  • You can transfer your tickets to another show this weekend.

  • We can offer you a streaming virtual performance ticket and refund the difference of the two prices.

  • You can turn your entire ticket purchase into a donation to support the cast/crew.

  • We can offer you a 100% refund on the purchase price of the tickets.

To contact the Box Office and let us know what you would like to do with the tickets you have booked, please use this form or contact the Box Office at tickets@emersontheatres.org.

Thank you for your continued support of live music, WGBH, and the cast and crew of a Celtic Sojourn.

Be safe and be well.
