Connections Ventures seeks a Merchandise Coordinator for this year’s A Christmas Celtic Sojourn (CCS), hosted by Brian O’Donovan and produced and directed by Jenna Worden. This position reports directly to the General Management Associate and the Producer. Local hires only.


About the Production: 

Since 2003, GBH has presented A Christmas Celtic Sojourn as a gathering to celebrate on stage during this darkest time of the year. Each December, the show has drawn on Celtic, Pagan, and Christian traditions to celebrate the season.​ 


Compensation: $15/hr

First day of work: TBD.   Merchandise Coordinator must provide their own transportation to venues.

 Required COVID Vaccination

CCS requires all employees to be completely vaccinated for COVID-19 before any on-site work commences. This policy allows for exemption accommodations for disability or religious reasons. Further details can be discussed during the interview process.


Responsibilities include:

Merchandise Manager

  • Set up and breakdown of merchandise sales at each venue

  • Packing up inventory at the end of the evening and ensure that it is safely stored or packed for tour.

  • Keep careful account of Artist’s CD’s and other merchandise.

  • Handling of cash and electronic transactions

  • Oversee volunteers for merchandise sales as needed

  • Coordinate sales with GM for payment to artists.

Qualifications include: 

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
