Connections Ventures seeks a Catering/Hospitality Coordinator for this year’s A Christmas Celtic Sojourn (CCS), hosted by Brian O’Donovan and produced and directed by Jenna Worden. This position reports directly to the General Management Associate and the Producer. Local hires only.

 

About the Production: 

Since 2003, GBH has presented A Christmas Celtic Sojourn as a gathering to celebrate on stage during this darkest time of the year. Each December, the show has drawn on Celtic, Pagan, and Christian traditions to celebrate the season.​  

 

Compensation: $15/hr

Required COVID Vaccination

CCS requires all employees to be completely vaccinated for COVID-19 before any on-site work commences. This policy allows for exemption accommodations for disability or religious reasons. Further details can be discussed during the interview process.

 

Responsibilities include:

Catering/Hospitality Coordinator

  • Reports to General Manager and will assist the GM as needed.

  • Travel to various venues on production’s tour as well as home venue in Boston.

  • Do some light shopping for snacks and supplies as needed.

  • Be mindful of Cast and Crew dietary restrictions and allergies. 

  • Research and select restaurants locations for food orders.

  • Coordinate orders of all meals for cast and crew.

  • Be on hand to receive any food deliveries to venues.

  • May need to pick up food orders, access to a vehicle is recommended.

  • Set up and clean up of all hospitality/catering areas.

  • Assist with organizing cast party.


Qualifications include: 

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
